"Awesome Dawson" aka "General Patton" aka "Trail Magic Wench"!! She is so neat that one name just wasn't enough! Here are 10 Question we asked her to get to know her a little bit better! 1) What is one thing most people don't know about you? I'm a skinny person (I'm just wearing a big coat.) 2) If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? A pink dogwood tree, because I'm one of the earliest and most beautiful trees to herald spring; insects benefit from my nectar, people are blessed by my blooms, birds nest and shelter in my limbs and benefit from my berries in fall--I like to help but not expend a lot of energy doing it! 3) What was/is your most favorite hike? Why? The hike I took on a March Monday in Roswell with Anna and Michelle, because they cared enough to hang with the slowest hiker to help me get in shape for more hiking. 4) If you could be a superheroine, what would you want your superpower to be? Teleportation. 5) What concept/philosophy/idea do you wish somebody told you when you were younger? Be yourself, and please yourself first. Only when you care more about what you think of yourself than what others think can you be truly happy. My mother worried so much about what her neighbors and friends thought that I couldn't learn that lesson until I left home--I then taught my nieces and nephews to value themselves. 6) What is the most spectacular thing you have ever done? Scuba dived on most of the reefs the Caribbean and Florida waters. 7) What luxury item is in your backpack? Lipstick. 8) Your go-to karaoke song is.......Slow Down, you Move too Fast! 9) What movie/book or movie/book character do you most identify with? Why? Jaclyn Smith because she epitomizes beauty for my generation. She is womanly, sexy, graceful, and gracious, and has a beautiful speaking voice. 10) Your true passion is.......... being outdoors in nature, hiking, strolling, gardening, watching the birds, scuba diving, sitting (a lot) gazing at flowers, trees, mountains, oceans, pastures, and animals.
